You are basically starting poisoning yourself once you put that unhealthy thing between your lips. If you are already a smoker and you are lacking motivation to stop smoking, try to look at pictures of lungs after smoking. Its scary appearance definitely will get you thinking.

Even if you are not smoking, your lungs are still in danger if you inhale the smoke of other people’s cigarette. As a matter of fact, passive smoker is actually in bigger risks of lung diseases compared to active smokers. This is because the cigarette comes with a filter that will prevent the smoker from consuming all the toxins while passive smokers don’t have anything to shield them from the smokes.

Eating healthy will also help preventing lungs disease. This is because fruits and vegetables contain plenty of antioxidant that can help strengthening your immune system, sending better oxygen to the blood and tackling the free radical that can be a danger to your lungs and your health in general.
